When I first met with Lauren, her mom, and her sister, I absolutely couldn’t wait to work with them. They were just so cool, and so sweet, and there wasn’t a doubt in my mind about how much fun Lauren’s wedding day would be 🙂  Lauren + Bear decided to do what so many of us wish we had and they took off with their closest friends and family to the beach for a week! During that week, they made it official and celebrated their love in one of the most romantic ways possible…an intimate sunset beach ceremony. Now, let me remind y’all that Sea Grove was about to be hit by a small grade hurricane. While it was a small one…rain was supposed to pound the coast. And oh how it did. Lucky for Lauren, it waited an extra 12 hours and we all got to enjoy one of the most gorgeous wedding day’s I’ve ever been a part of!!! I couldn’t have been happier for Lauren because she remained calm and positive the ENTIRE week of the wedding, regardless of what the forecast said. Lauren was an absolutely gorgeous bride, and she wore her mom’s wedding dress! She had it altered to make it her own, and it was absolute perfection. One of the prettiest dresses I’ve ever seen. The reception location was “V-Sea Grove” and every detail from the flowers to the food was AMAZING. Okay, enough story telling–I’m so excited to share Lauren + Bear’s wedding day with you all. Thank you to the McConnell + Van Ness families for making me feel so welcome. I enjoyed every second with all of you!!!

I know I’ve said this before, but one of my favorite moments to try and capture from the day is right after the bride and groom are married –they walk to gather with the wedding party after the ceremony and the smiles are always full of nothing but complete happiness….the pictures are never “perfect” but are still my absolute favorite 🙂 How gorgeous is Lauren?!?!?!
